Bella (Courtney Miller) has been wreaking havoc in the Bay recently, causing trouble at school by avoiding her new tutor, Roo (Georgie Parker), and deliberately setting off the fire alarm to get out of talking about her past. This leads to an explosive fight between Bella and Colby (Tim Franklin), which results in Bella storming out of the Pier apartment.
Colby tries to work out why Bella is acting out, but can’t find a clear reason. Meanwhile, Willow (Sarah Roberts) offers to speak to Bella while Colby deals with a situation at work.
Bella goes to the Diner and shows off to Raffy (Olivia Deeble) and Ryder (Lukas Radovich) about setting off the fire alarm. Roo shows up looking for Bella, but when she turns around, Bella has disappeared.
Roo catches up with Bella later on, and tries to apologise to Bella for pushing her too far earlier. Bella appears to genuinely accept the apology, then laughs in Roo’s face and runs off.
At a loss at how to deal with Bella’s behaviour, Maggie (Kestie Morassi) decides the only course of action is to suspend her. Bella is indifferent to the punishment, but Colby takes her to work with him, refusing to let her treat the suspension as a holiday.
Sitting her in the police office with schoolwork, Colby tries to work, but Bella won’t cooperate. Colby finally snaps, and shows Bella the inside of a police cell. He says he’ll throw her inside if she doesn’t stop causing trouble…
