China appoints new head of Center for Disease Control and Prevention

BEIJING (Reuters) – China has appointed Shen Hongbing as the new head of the Chinese Center For Disease Control and Prevention, replacing Gao Fu who retired, the CDC said in a statement on Tuesday.
